Red Flags to Watch for When Buying an RV
When considering an RV purchase, transparency from the dealership is essential to ensure you're making a confident, informed decision. Unfortunately, not all dealerships welcome third-party inspections, and that should raise a significant 🚩 red flag for potential buyers.
Why Does This Matter?

Dealerships that refuse to allow independent, third-party inspections definitely have something to hide. These inspections are crucial for uncovering potential issues, protecting your investment, and ensuring your safety on the road.

At Blue Ox RV Inspections, we’ve built a reputation for being thorough, detailed, and transparent. While most dealerships value this dedication to protecting buyers, some have chosen to ban our company from their premises. One such dealership group, with six locations, has prohibited Blue Ox RV Inspections and stated that our inspections are "too thorough." We were sent a letter that stated we would be arrested if we stepped foot on their property.

We invite you to watch this video below and judge for yourself. Would you prefer a rigorous, unbiased inspection or one performed by an inspector from the dealership's approved list—inspectors who may not have your best interest at heart?

What to Look Out For:
-
🚩 Dealerships that refuse to allow any independent, third-party inspections.
-
🚩 Dealerships that try to convince you that an RV inspection is not necessary.
-
🚩 Dealerships that insist on only using their approved list of inspectors.
-
🚩 Dealerships who lack transparency about the condition of the RV you're purchasing.

Your Investment Deserves Protection
Purchasing an RV is a significant commitment. You should have the right to hire the inspection team of your choice to ensure the RV meets your expectations. If a dealership blocks that choice, it’s worth asking why.

At Blue Ox RV Inspections, we believe you deserve peace of mind and the confidence to hit the road worry-free. Don't settle for anything less.

Feel free to contact us and we’ll let you know what dealerships will treat you right!
