Pierre Fortin
My extensive background with RV's made becoming an RV Inspector a natural choice. For over 45 years I've enjoyed the RV life. My wife Laurel and I have attained the ultimate dream to become full-time RV'ers. We can proudly say we've been living the dream since 2020.
As a certified NRVIA inspector and a registered technician member of the RVTAA (RV Technician Association of America), I can physically and visually determine with a sense of knowledge how the 3 sources of power (12V, generator and shore power) perform as they were intended to. In addition, we inspect the 2 sources of water available supplying from city or on-board pump by testing both systems. We can confirm, at the moment of inspection, if everything is operational with specific measurements. These are examples of vital sources one needs in using knowledge, tools, and experience to determine the condition of the RV evaluated. A thorough inspection requires all the above, in order to supply the client with an easily comprehensible report. This report will help arm you with the negotiating tools for your future acquisition purchase. We are giving you peace of mind and power of lever for negotiating the purchase of your RV. Laurel Fortin
Since 2001, I have worked side by side, with Pierre, as his business partner in crime. When he has a new business adventure idea, I dive in and learn the ropes. In the early years, Pierre designed and manufactured a niche log loader trailer. I jumped on board to learn all about steel, hydraulics, lift capacities and every detail that made our trailer superior to the competition. I handled customer sales, making each customer a part of the Blue Ox family. While delivering our trailers all over the country, it was an easy transition for Pierre to start our Blue Ox Trucking Company. With no hesitation, I learned the lingo of handling dispatch through brokers. I should have been on the TV show "Shipping Wars". Since 2001, Pierre & I have owned four 5th wheels,1 Class C, and currently we are living full-time in our Class A Motorhome. Our 1st 5th wheel was 27' with one slide. We started out as seasonal campers, allowing our 4 young daughters to learn the value of creating friendships at an RV resort, while I worked full time out of the camper. Together our experience in the industry is something we value and look forward to sharing with all the new friends we make along the trails.
